April's recommendation for a listing price came with a very detailed market analysis, visit to the home, and consultation meeting. I knew, exactly, what to expect. She had accurate answers to all of my questions and fit my hectic schedule.

I have known April for going on 20 years now. She was friends with a co-worker and we would run into each other at social gatherings. At one of these events, we happened to gather at the new home of April’s parents and had to borrow a can opener from the next-door neighbors. The neighbor’s son was the only one home at the time and he came along with the opener. As Fate would have it, that young man later became my husband. By the time we were looking for our first home it was a no brainer that we would use April as our realtor. Since that time April has represented us as both buyers and sellers numerous times, most recently this past year when we bought our first house and sold our condo. When you are making real estate transactions, the dollar amounts are staggeringly large compared to anything other purchase you make. Plus, you are talking about your home – either the place you have spent many years of your life, or the place you hope to make your home for many years. It is all very emotional and overwhelming, not to mention all the dates and paperwork hoops you have to manage. April manages all the bureaucratic details leaving you to focus on finding the right home, plus she is totally unflappable. I can’t count the times I, or my husband, called her freaking out about one thing or another and she took it all in stride and calmly guided us through it all. At the same time, as a negotiator, she is as tough as they come and keeps her clients’ best interests laser focused. We love our new house and as the weather improves have started chatting with our neighbors as we all venture outside for yard projects or just a stroll around the neighborhood. On days I work from home, I am taken with just how many folks (and dogs!) are often out for a walk. We have also had a blast exploring the various shops and restaurants that Burien has to offer (this place is a true hidden gem). I wouldn’t think twice about recommending April including sending referrals her way, and she is the only realtor for us.

April is fantastic! I first met her over 19 years ago when I was buying my house in Seattle, and even then she immediately stood out as being head and shoulders ahead of the other agents I had met. She took the time to understand my requirements and concerns and, back in the day when you couldn't search for houses on the Web, helped me find what proved to be my home for a very long time.
When I finally decided to move on and sell the house, I interviewed several agents who had been recommended to me, but, as before, April ended up at the head of the pack. I was soon very happy to have made the right decision and hire her. She helped me plan a well orchestrated sequence of steps, from moving out, painting, sprucing up and staging the house, all on a very tight schedule, found and negotiated with contractors and took care of innumerable details at a time that I would have been overwhelmed with my relocation. She was totally hands-on, and I was frankly amazed at the level of effort she expended on my behalf. On top of that, she devised and implemented a marketing strategy that led to seven above-listing offers on the offer review date, and successfully negotiated to raise an all cash offer we had received. I cannot speak too highly of her performance.

April was the best! She went out of her way to be helpful literally every step of the way. I never felt pushed or persuaded. April would present all of the options, and make sure she provided me with all the knowledge so I could make an informed decision.

My budget did not allow for me to hire a "stager" so April and my brother worked together to stage it. April even brought in some of her own furniture and pieces to add colorful yet tasteful touches. My place was transformed! She also waited one day for hours for the dishwasher delivery people, when I could not leave work. April has integrity, skills, and a desire to be truly helpful.
